malmö

i had to take this opportunity to blog about malmö whilst briefly sat at a Swedish keyboard

(so as to write the ö's properly!)

we are at the beautiful stadsbiblioteket. (libraries aren't often the most inspiring buildings, but this one's a modern gem). We have had an absolutely charming welcome in Sweden -- great hospitality at E & S' flat. Yesterday we hung out with Christopher and J~Mo, had a late breakfast and wandered into town, our 'tour' included vintage shops, a music shop, fika, bookshop, falafel, grocery-shopping,.. This morning we chatted with Emma over porridge, met Sofia at City Mission, borrowed the girls' bicycles; visited a friend of Emma's who plays nyckelharpa, (amazing! so cool to be introduced to a native swedish musical instrument). We discovered a place called Korvhuset ("The Sausage House") for lunch ...and cycled around the harbour, through the park... and here we are at the library.. another update later I think... JR and me are on good form. more to follow :)))......
